Our mission rests on 5 core values: In 2017, Matt founded Music Alignment, Under his leadership, the agency focuses on developing the sound, artist identity, and business model of independent musicians, providing industry-standard coaching and career development. Matt's coaching and artist development expertise spans the globe, having mentored over 160 emerging artists and writers in the UK, USA, Latin America, Middle East, and India among others.

As an Artist Development Consultant He works closely with East London Arts and Music Academy (ELAM). He has played a vital role in shaping the future success of artists some of whom have taken the world by storm. He coaches 20+ trainees each year, preparing them for success as writers or performers. His impact has led to significant milestones for his trainees, such as high-profile recognition and increased opportunities within the industry.
Throughout his journey, Matt has demonstrated exceptional skills. He has excelled at pitching to major clients, managing teams, delivering performance objectives, and developing innovative training and workshops. His dedication and creative approach have led to successful artist scouting, portfolio development, and the execution of large-scale projects. His persistent networking and curiosity about new relationships make him a well-connected figure within the global music scene.
Matt is an authorised professional voice coach certified by Vocology In Practice and holds a Master of Arts degree in Music Production from the University of York. His academic achievements include a dissertation focused on international recording and production, a research project that took him on a 3-month trip to Colombia.
Aside from his work in artist development, Matt brings experience in the Live music scene as a booking agent anD Artist Liaison having worked with venues across London and with festivals such as Brainchild  Festival and Artist Relations & Vocal Producer at Soho Sonic Studios. In his freelance role with Snafu Records, Matt continues to shape the label's talent with advanced artist development strategies.
